The Beatles - Black Jackets

The Beatles biography, began in the early sixties, as all the young teenagers, turned their heads to England, and all the groups were creating super rock and roll music.

In the late fifties, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best played in the Casbah Club with their group named The Silver Beatles. They later took off the word Silver and called themselves just The Beatles.

A lot of their music had some psychedelia in them such as "Yellow Submarine", "I am the Walrus" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds".

In 1961, continuing with the Beatles biography, they played many concerts in the Cavern Club in Liverpool. They were in the top ten in Hambourg, Germany.

It was in 1962 Brian Epstein, became their manager and Ringo Starr took over from Pete Best on the drums at the Cavern Club in Liverpool. Ringo Starr was formerly with Rory Storme and the Hurricanes.

In 1963, it was written in the newspapers in the beatles biography, "They're calling it Beatlemania and there's no doubt that, Britian, is in love with the Beatles as screaming fans clogged the streets around, the London Palladium, when the Liverpool Rock group starred in a TV show".

The fans brought enough records of "She Loves You" to make it number one for four weeks.

In November 1963, they played at the Royal Variety Performance in London England.

Unlike the Rolling Stones they were seldom influenced by the blues, and they were highly influenced by Chuck Berry with "Roll Over Beethoven" and Rock And Roll Music.

In the Village of Lancashire, Liverpool, in 1962, The Beatles, released their hit song, "Love Me Do" that was 17th place on the British hit parade at that time.

After Love me do, they released the record, "Please Please Me" and many other songs followed.

The Beatles biography continues, the popular music caused a revolution in music that has not been seen in the eighties or nineties.

Manchester England, was also one of the bastions for rock and roll music with the groups like the Herman's Hermits, who recorded "Listen People" and "No milk Today", the Hollies, the group Freddie and the Dreamers, who recorded "Stay" and "If you got to make a Fool of Somebody".

Because of The Beatles, rock and roll, advanced it's influence among the young people of the world. In 1963 and 1964 rock was born, and it was the age of gold for music.

Continuing with the Beatles biography, in February of 1964, The Beatles, flew into Kennedy Airport, in New York. Thousands of teenagers, packed the airport to scream their love and adulation, and they even broke through a police cordon, and followed the Beatles to the Plaza Hotel as they were appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show the following night.

In October of 1963, they played at the London Palladium which was broadcast live to television and that was the day The Beatles biography or Beatlemania really began.

In 1964, they made a film entitled a "Hard Days Night" followed by "Help" in 1965.

In 1965, they did a concert at Shea Stadium in New York, to more than fifty thousand screaming fans.

On June 12, 1965 they were awarded Member of the Empire Order by the Queen.
