In Glen Campbell biography, he was born April 22, 1936 in Delight Arkansas and was the seventh son in a large family of 12 children.

Glen received his first guitar from his father when he was only four years old. His father had brought it at Sears and Roebuck. Glen began playing guitar on the radio shows at the age of six.

When he was fourteen years old, he joined his uncle's country and western band in Albuquerque.

In 1973, he played at Carnagie Hall and later recorded, "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" which became his first international hit song.

In 1975, he released the hit "Rhinestone Cowboy".

In 1977, he released the hit, "Southern Lights".

He had guests like Bobbie Gentry and Stevie Wonder on his show.
