Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary Indiana. He is from a family of nine children, seven boys and two girls. The two girls in the family are Latoya and her younger sister Janet. His Father, is named Joseph and his Mother is Katherine. Their Father worked in a steel mill, and was very strict with the children, he was accused of beating them and forcing them to perform to perfection. The children were raised as Jehovah Witnesses but today most of them as well as Michael have quit the group. Michael began at about five years old on stage with his brother, as he grew up he watched James Brown, dancing on the television shows. It is said he got most of his dancing style from watching James Brown. In the early sixties Michael joined up with his brothers Tito, Marlon, Jermaine and Jackie and they formed the group the Jackson Five. On the 19 of November, 2004 a warrant was issued for his arrest, accusing him of multiple charges of child abuse and molestation.
