Beginning with the Rolling Stones history biography, they began playing in 1961, when Mick Jagger and Keith Richards met Brian Jones.

Mick or Michael Jagger was born the 26 of July, 1943 in Dartford.

Keith Richards, was born on the 18 of December, 1943 in Dartford.

Charles Robert Watts was born in London on the 2nd of June, 1941.

Bill Wyman or William Perks his real name, was born in London on the 24th of October, 1936

Lewis Brian Jones was born in Gloucestershire the 28th of Febuary, 1942.

In April of 1962, they set out to form the best band in England.

It was Brian Jones, who came up with the name of the Rolling Stones.

In January of 1963, Charlie Watts joins up with the Stones after seeing them play at the Red Lion Pub in Sutton.

In May of 1963, they sign up with Decca Records one of the biggest recording companies in Britain.

In November of 1963, they released the song titled, "I Wanna be Your Man".

Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, in August of 1966, they recorded for RCA Victor Studios in Los Angeles, California the hit song, "Have You seen Your Mother Baby, Standing in The Shadow"?

The journalist Judith Simons wrote in the Daily Express, "The Rolling Stones are like little boys that any mother with a little respect would like to lock in the bathroom", the Stones didn't care too much what people thought of them".

Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, they were liked by the teenagers of the sixties, but The Beatles were liked by nearly every age group as they were well dressed and very polite.

Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, Andrew Loog Oldham, who was the manager of the group in 1963, had the idea to oppose the Beatles ways and ideals, and create a new style for the Stones different from the Beatles, who sang songs of love and wore suits and ties.

In the newspapers, it was said that the Stones were dirty and on drugs. In the papers it was asked, "Would you let your daughter go out with a Rolling Stone"?.

Most parents didn't want their teenagers to associate with them or their music, but at that time most teenagers didn't care what the newspapers wrote or what their parents told them.

People didn't know that at that time, the Rolling Stones went to hospitals in England to visit the sick children.

In 1965, they travelled with Roy Orbison to Sydney Australia to do a tour.

The Rolling Stones took a long time to write their own music. It was in 1965, that they wrote the hit, "The Last Time", which became a hit in the first few weeks.

The next hit song was "I Can't Get No Satisfaction", which became the number one hit in the summer of 1965, beating the Beatles on the charts.

Another big hit was, "As Tears Go By" a song by Marianne Faithfull who was Mick Jaggers girlfriend for a few years.

Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, they gave their first performance at the Marquee Club in London.

In April of 1967, they played in Vienna before 15 thousand fans, then somebody threw a smoke bomb and a riot took place, the police arrested over 100 fans at the time.

In June of 1972, they begin a tour of Canada and USA. They started the tour in British Columbia with Stevie Wonder as supporting Act.

In 1975, the Stones did another tour in the USA, starting out in Louisiana.

Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, in November of 1975, the records of the Rolling Stones, Elton John and others were burned by members of the Baptist Church in Talahassee, Florda because the church said the music was immoral to the young teenagers.

Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, in November of 1977, Mick and Keith got mad at the punk movement when they said the Rolling Stones were has-beens.

In 1978, the band recorded the album, "Some Girls".

In July of 1978, the fans rioted at Orchid Park, in New York State, because the Stones don't give them an encore.

In 1980, they released the album, "Emotional Rescue".

In 1981, they released the album, "Tatoo You".

In March of 1983, their concert film, "Let's Spend the Night Together" began its run in the UK.

In 1989, they did another tour and they released the album "Steel Wheels".

In 1989, They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Continuing with the Rolling Stones history, in 1994, they released the album titled, "Voodoo Lounge".

In 1995, they released the album titled, "Stripped".

In 1997, they released the album, "Bridges To Babylon".

In 2002, they released the album titled, "Fourty Licks".

On July 30, 2003 they sang in Toronto Ontario, Canada, to help Toronto recover from the Sars Epidemic, and had close to half a million people attend the show.

Continuing with Rolling Stones history, on December 12, 2003 Mick Jagger was Knighted by Prince Charles.

Mick Jagger is an extraordinary lead singer, and one of the most riveting performers ever to set foot on a stage.

The group, has been playing more than forty six years.

In July 0f 2005, The Rolling Stones began another tour of 35 Cities.

The Rolling Stones will be playing in South America, The Far East and Europe in 2006.

At a News Conference, Charlie Watts said this would be the last tour for the Stones but Mick Jagger replied, "We don't plan that this is the last tour, we do each tour as it comes".

They released a new CD titled, "A Bigger Bang" in September of 2005.

It is a Collection of 16 Tracks making it one of their longest albums since, "Exile On Main Street" which was released in 1972.

Continuing with Rolling Stones history biography, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ron Wood remained with the Rolling Stones and they are still playing in the year 2007.
