Seventies Music history: April 9 1970: The Beatles go to court to dissolve their partnership as Paul McCartney issues a writ in the High Court calling for the dissolution of the business carried on as the "Beatles and Company" and ends a creative alliance that might justifiably be said to change the world of music. In 1970 the group Chicago enters into the hit parade with the classic Rhythm and Blues song,"Gimmie some Loving" a song from the "Spencer Davis Group". On the 17 September 1970 Jimi Hendrix plays at the Ronnie Scott club in London and returns to his girl friends apartment Monika Danneman where he takes pills to help him sleep he never wakes up and he dies at the age of 28. Elvis Presley dies 16 August,1977 of a drug overdose, and this is a little bit of seventies Music History.
