Beginning with Tina Turner biography, she was born Anna Mae Bullock on the 26, November 1939.

She was best known for her performance with the Ike And Tina Revue and her comeback in the early eighties.

She was discovered by Ike Turner a pioneer of Rock and Roll music.

She began as a vocalist in his show at the age of eighteen and she married him in 1958.

She began her singing in a bar in Saint Louis in 1958. Their success together multiplied in concert after concert.

The Revue toured throughout Europe but mostly in England where they toured with the Rolling Stones and were treated like stars. She is a good friend of Mick Jagger.

They played on the Ed Sullivan Show and the Johnny Carson Show.

In he Sixties and early Seventies, they were one of the most popular duos of the Afro-American music.

Tina and Ike recorded a number of hits in the sixties such as, "A fool In Love, It's Gonna Work Out Fine and River Deep Mountain High" with the producer Phil Spector.

Behind the glory their relationship together was getting more and more conflicting, as Ike's abusive behavior led her to leave him in 1976.

She credits her Buddhist faith with giving her the courage to strike out on her own.

After their divorce, everybody thought her music career was finished but they were wrong. She Released several solo albums in the late 70s.

In 1983 she sang the hit "Let's Stay Together" a song from Al Green, which became an instant success.

The album "Private Dancer", sold more than 12 million copies. Elton John once said, Tina Turner was the first real female singer in Rock and roll.

She also sang the songs, "We don't Need Another Hero" and "One Of The Living" in the movie titled, "Mad Max". She played the Acid Queen.

Continuing with Tina Turner biography, she was called the Mother of Rock.

She left the marriage with no money or property, only asking to use the name Ike had given her.

Tina Turner biography continues, in 1990, she released the single titled, "It Takes Two".

In 1991, she released the songs titled, "The Way of the Worlds" and "Nutbush City Limits".

In 1993, in her autobiography, "I Tina" was made into a film titled, "What's Love Got To Do With It".

In 1995, she released the song, "Golden Eye".

In 1999, she released the song titled, "When the Heartache is Over".

In early 2000, she released the Album, "Twenty Four Seven" with The hit song entitled, "Whatever You Need".

In 2004, she released the song, "Open Arms" from the Album, "All the Best".
