In Toby Keith biography, he was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on July 8, 1961.

He received his first guitar at the age of eight.

He worked on the rigs for the oil companies around Oklahoma.

When he was twenty three years old, he began to work in bars around Oklahoma and the State of Texas.
