Beginning with Van Morrison biography, he was born in 1945, and started to play the guitar when he was twelve years old, he learned to play the sax a few years later.

When he was fifteen he played records from Bo Didley and Chuck Berry but his friends didn't really like the music.

He began playing in groups in the late fifties, under many diffrent names.

He sang the blues when he was young, his father had a big collection of blues records such as Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry, Bo Diddley.

Van listen to New Orleans jazz, the blues, country and western, and folk music. He even listen to Hank Williams

He was one of the first to do rhythm and blues even before the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Continuing with Van Morrison biography, in the early sixties, he moved back to England, there was more work there and he later performed music at the Maritime Hotel in Belfast, Ireland.

In 1966, he moved to California where he played and recorded many songs.

In 1968, he released, "Astral Weeks" with Warner Brothers which was more like jazz music.

He moved to Woodstock but later returned to California in 1971, he said he got tired of the scene in Woodstock.

In 1973, Van Morrison did concerts at the Los Angeles Troubadour and Santa Monica Civic Hall.

He returned to England in July of 1973, and played at the Birmingham Town Hall which was packed solid with people.

He sang the songs, "Treat Her Right", "Gloria", "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Bring It On Home To Me".

In 1974, he released the record album, "It's To Late To Stop Now".
